Program Director - Debra Morris

My husband and I are members of VBC, and married 13 years. We are the proud parents of two children, and teach Jr. church  together. I serve our church in many areas, particularly in the childrens minstires at Victory. (VBS, Sunday school, children's church)  I have been a MDO teacher for about 6 years, and I was a vital part of starting two mother's Day out programs at previous churches, before we moved back to Leander and our pastor asked me to lead this children's ministry. Tjsi is my third year as the Directory at Sonshine Kids. I absolutely love working with children, and watching them grow in the Lord. Our children are our future and I am blessed to be a part of God's work in their lives. I will continue to serve where God leads me.

Toddlers - Liz Hubbard 

Mrs. Liz has been with Sonshine Kids since our charter year! She is the mother of two children, Amy and David, and the proud wife of Chris, Pastor at Union Hall Baptist Church. Liz is an experiencedSunday school and VBS teacher. She has worked with children for many years and has a special way of loving our little ones. Our toddler class will focus on a bible lesson and color weekly. They learn through music and play as they explore God's word.

Four's - Jennifer Jordan

Jennifer is an experienced Sunday and AWANA leader. She is starting her second year at Sonshine Kids where she taught three's. She will be moving up to the four's and is very excited about that! Jennifer is grounded in her faith and mother of two children, Peyton and Jerzey. She is happily married to Brent.

 Teacher's Assistant- Joyce Strain

Ms. Joyce is a constant in our classrooms. She is a wife and mother of three daughters. Joyce is a member of Victory Baptist and has been with us for over 2 years. Joyce has many years experience with young preschoolers, and assists in the daily activities, she serves as our permanent substitute teacher,  as well as provides support for the Director.
